Firefox privacy team is conducted in the shield study and many Firefox users actively participated in this. It conducted user research to know in depth about how privacy protections affect users.

There were 19000 respondents and the research team finds out eight variations in behaviours of users. Firefox unblocks some of its existing privacy features to let users see what their behaviour is a matter of.

While doing so it comes to light about some of the new dimensions where these features could be augmented and some additional fields with which the realm of privacy protection could go forward.

Firefox Rocket:

While learning in depth about all of these features, some more privacy features come to light and Firefox will add these features to its future updates. For sometime Mozilla Firefox has been introducing some of smarter web browser for desktop and mobile devices. Its Android version of Firefox Rocket is quick and lightweight.

In its turbo mode, it blocks ads and trackers in order to speed up web browsing and save mobile data. You can block images whenever you want to rescue data. With two taps you can save the website for offline reading. Clearing cache is easier so that this will wanted space in phone’s memory. It is designed to provide unrestricted internet.

Firefox Focus:

Another interesting browser from Mozilla Firefox for Android is Firefox Focus. It automatically blocks ads and other web trackers. Due to the block of these trackers web pages load faster.

It is a very small download at about 4 MB. It provides always-on privacy protection which activates automatically when we open the browser. It empowers users to control content what they liked about. All privacy features are enabled automatically and thus users do not have to worry about doing this and in this way, it consumes less data and loads faster.

Firefox Send:

Another privacy enabled a feature of Firefox is ‘Send’ which is a private, encrypted file sharing and it automatically expires to ensure your files remain secure.

It allows you to upload and encrypt large files up to 1 GB to share it online. Each link you created with sand will expire after the first download or after 24 hours. Then, the file will automatically delete from server. Send can be used on any modern browser and does not require any add-on.

Firefox Mozilla study analyses Improving privacy without breaking the web:

In this research, Firefox wants to know “Does track protection breaks website? “, “Do broken websites make users leave Firefox? “ and “Are there existing privacy protections we could enable with minimal web breakage?”

These three questions are very pertinent questions and users, as well as Firefox users, want its answers. The shield study helps to make Firefox better. It does include optional surveys.

It helps Firefox to make better decisions about the privacy concerns of users and this makes ultimate use of Firefox to satisfy user’s preferences. In this study, some good and pertinent answers to ever confusion privacy restrictions come about.

People want to remove third-party cookies while they close Firefox. It disables some types of tracking by advertisers not all trackers. On the other hand, some website uses these cookies to provide personalized solutions to users.

So with all of these comes three interesting observations so that breakage of the website can be put to a bare minimum, such as the “Origin-only Referrer values to third parties”, “Session-only third-party cookies” and “Tracking Protection”. Here we see how data received from the survey could go beyond and become an actionable and interesting phenomenon.

Firefox Quantum

Firefox Quantum presents all users with regular tracking protection for their regular browsing. Regular Firefox does provide private browsing to minimize the preferred values of origins.

What makes Firefox learn that they should minimize some of its protection on one hand and on the other a better privacy protection without breaking of user’s data is significant?

While analyzing some of the privacy improving feature, Mozilla also finds that some website is breaking and now comes the way to manage these features in a way that these breaking of the website does not pose significant privacy intrusion for users.

The ultimate analyses that can improve privacy features without too much of compromising of breaking the web possible and while doing a pertinent and clear study on this Mozilla do find out some of the most important and path-breaking points from user’s interaction.

It is important to know that websites should load without breaking a perfect website reading experience. While improving privacy features on the website it is of paramount importance to see whether these are overriding the user’s experience or not. It is important to minimize breakage of the website to provide good browsing experience for users.

Mozilla finds out that tracking protection is not negative but it actually fix the website and reduce breakage level and in this manner, it does not slow down the website to a considerable extent. In this way, it reduces details sent to trackers and provide very few login failures and remove minimization website use time.

Suggestions about Mozilla Firefox:

Loading of mail is important. Blocking of unknown trackers to accelerate website. Tracking protection speeds up website and blocks annoying ads. To the internet, the severe problems of the Internet page loading are the presence of third-party cookies. Most modern browsers stop these and we already see it work with Opera and Firefox. In an android web browser, the Samsung Internet Browser also stops ads and content blocking.

I still hope Mozilla would release such feature where the closing of the website would delete all website related data and preferably when the tab becomes sandbox container to make it happen.

What it is indeed nice is that Mozilla using these studies to improve the protection of privacy to a greater extent. No browser is ever perfect but at least could improve it to further augment the user experience.
